What this is

PlantCraft AI is a free, open beta. It helps you photograph and identify plants, compare them against reference sources, flag possible dangerous look-alikes, and keep a personal field library with cited background information.

Beta software

This product is under active development. Features, scoring, and content may change, and — while we take reasonable care — we cannot guarantee against data loss during the beta period. Please don't treat it as your only copy of anything irreplaceable.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what happens under your account. One account per person, please.

No safety guarantee

Identification results, certainty scores, caution ratings, and any AI-generated text are decision support, not a certification of safety. A high score or a "safe" label reflects agreement among automated sources, not a verified fact about the specific plant in front of you. Species information, historical texts, and AI summaries may be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the service to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer our systems or the third-party AI/identification providers behind them.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlantCraft AI and its operators are not liable for any harm, injury, or loss arising from reliance on identifications, safety ratings, or other content in the app. Foraging carries inherent risk; the decision to consume or use any wild plant is yours alone.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
